Refrigeration You
won't believe the number of features that are now available to fill your
refrigeration needs. When choosing a refrigerator, consider its cost,
size, style, features, energy efficiency, and mode of installation. A
refrigerator is a major user of electricity, so it is a good idea to check
the energy usage label. Units that use less electricity will cost more
up front but will be more efficient and cost less to operate over time.
Refrigeration units come in a myriad of configurations, dimensions, and
finishes. Look for refrigerator/freezer combination units (the most common),
refrigerators and freezers as stand alone units, undercounter or drawer
units, beverage storage units (one temperature level), and wine storage
units (one or two temperature zones).
